OUR PURPOSE
pdbuzzNPT is a Community Action Committee whose purpose is to increase awareness of Parkinson’s disease and increase Parkinson’s resources in Newport County. pdbuzzNPT is a member of the Davis Phinney Foundation “Healthy Parkinson’s Communities” initiative which is a national network striving to make communities more inclusive and supportive for people living with Parkinson’s disease.

The APDA Rhode Island Chapter works tirelessly every day to support and empower those in our Rhode Island community who are impacted by Parkinson’s disease (PD). We promote hope and optimism through innovative services, programs, education, and support, while also funding vital research. We are here to help you and your loved ones every step of the way.
Aquidneck Island Parkinson’s Disease Support Group
The Aquidneck Island Support Group’s goal is to provide an opportunity for people living with Parkinson’s Disease to Share personal experiences, feelings, and coping strategies, to provide Educational opportunities related to the disease and to empower participants to take Action towards living well with Parkinson’s disease.
