Two Tracks, One Empowering Day for
People with Parkinson’s Disease and their Loved Ones
• Join us for a FREE workshop designed to help you learn, understand, and leave with a plan to live well with Parkinson’s Disease.
• Engage with Local resources- movement disorder specialists, driving specialist Island Chapter, Parkinson’s Foundation NE Chapter, PMD Alliance, therapists, exercise instructors, social workers, and more!
• Connect and share experiences and ideas with peers on similar journeys .
• Care partners and people with Parkinson’s participate in separate breakout sessions (11:00 am -3:00 pm) tailored to their needs.
• • Lunch will be, pharmacist, home safety expert, representatives from APDA Rhode
served, so please register to reserve your seat!

Hike Fit Level I
Join me for a 30-40 minute hike along a scenic coastal wildlife refuge. The surface is mostly flat paths and trails. There will be 3-4 intervals of body weight strengthening exercises on natural and manmade features along the way.
What to Bring: At least 16 oz of drinking water
What to wear: Dress in layers- you will be creating some heat and burning some calories! Sturdy walking or hiking shoes are required.

The location will be provided at registration. There is a maximum of 6 participants

Aquidneck Island Parkinson's Disease Support Group by the SEA
The Aquidneck Island Support Group’s goal is to provide an opportunity for people living with Parkinson’s Disease to Share personal experiences, feelings, and coping strategies, to provide Educational opportunities related to the disease and to empower participants to take Action towards living well with Parkinson’s disease.
Second Saturday of Each Month
Individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners are welcome to attend the support group monthly or as desired with no obligation for attendance. There is no fee associated with this group and parking is free.
